Doppio Coffee and Bistro, An Uptown Cafe That Has an Italian Vibe to It
What if you could have a glimpse and vibe of Italy at the comfort of your city? Sounds great to me! Hey you bibliophile and coffee aficionado out there, I have an interesting place for you all at a pocket-friendly expense.
Located amidst the IT hub of Bhubaneshwar, Infocity, this cosy café is undoubtedly by far the best place to hang out with your loved ones. Doppio Coffee and Bistro is a new addition to the city of temples. Located beside the street, it is easily accessible via local transport and any mode of communication. The Ambience and Vibe
Doppio is ingeniously designed in Faux Bougainvillea, White & Pink Phlox, Lavender Globe Thistle and other red, purple & white flowers. This place channels an Italian vibe with the white and black décor and sitting arrangement on the outside. The Antique Wall Sconces add that romantic vibrance in the evening to the surrounding making it perfectly instagrammable. One drawback is that the place is limited.
The ambience inside is young, alla moda and fresh. You can go for a comfortable couch with cushions in one corner or a ligneous chair and table on the other. The ceiling panel is made of wood, adding that vintage touch. Above the billing counter, there are hanging plants and lamps and lights. Positivity is all around the atmosphere.
Beside the counter, there is a small corner for books, and the collection has romantic novels like A walk to remember by Nicholas sparks to motivating books like The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. A treat for book lovers indeed! Being a bibliophile, this feature of Doppio impressed me.
Foreign Flavour for Soul foodie
The menu at Doppio highlights signature Italian and French cuisines. From Pasta to sandwiches and Coffee to Smoothies, you will find a wide range of items to cure your cravings. You can enjoy the baked version of Rasogulla, the state’s traditional dessert. They serve a variety of Iced tea. I had Iced Thai tea; chilled boost of Thai tea mix with a nutty undertone, perfect to quench your thirst and calm your senses.
Pasta is my go-to Italian grub. I had Del Barone Pasta made in classic bechamel (white sauce) with veggies. The perfectly cooked penne immersed in the hot sauce was a game-changer for my taste buds which complimented the rainy evening outside. Coffee addicts can find every variety of hot & cold coffee brewed to perfection at minimal rates. If you are someone who breathes chocolate, then you must try their assortment of Hot chocolate. Oh! The menu is vegan; if you are a hardcore non-veg, I think you will be disappointed here.

Doppio Coffee and Bistro is a newly launched café, and you won’t find it on Zomato yet. They are in a growing phase; you cannot discover much information about it online as of now. However, the location and the atmosphere will draw crowds. I have been here twice and looking forward to visiting again and again. You can visit with your date, hang out with your friends, celebrate your special moments, or enjoy quality time with the most crucial person in your life, that is you. A company of books and coffee never goes in vain. Detach yourself from the worldly chaos. This place is therapeutic! Doppio is an Italian word that means double. I can guarantee you will have twice the fun here.
